In order to follow the trend of international marine manufacturing industry transfer to china, as the marine manufacture centre, Dalian city will present, within and without the country, the layout for establishment of a port-face industry park on Changxing Island, in which area the development of marine manufacturing, marine assorting and equipment manufacturing are to be the keystones. Occupying 5 square km., taking a superior position, being more open to outside, this park owns a long history of trading with Korea and Japan, as a result, it is a perfect place to have economic cooperation with Japanese Islands, Korean peninsula and far eastern of Russia. After being founded, this park is to be the important base of marine accessories producing, big-sized equipment R & D, manufacturing and info-communication in Northeast China.
●Fundamental Conditions
Land and sea traffic: being 130km. apart from downtown Dalian, 292 km. away from Shenyang city, neighboring Shen-Da and Ha-Da railway. Meanwhile, it is 152km. from Dalian port, 267 sea miles to Incheon port, 559 sea miles to Pusan port of Korea and 1153 sea miles to Yokohama port of Japan.
Air traffic: 50 minutes’ flight to Beijing, 1.5 hour to shanghai, 1 hour to Seoul of Korea and 2 hours to Tokyo.
Water supply: 10,000 ton/day.
Power supply: 2 sets of 66KV transformer substation; the power transmission capacity of 18,100KVA.
Communication: prefect external communication equipments, including mobile phone, wireless BP and internet, etc.
●Industry Orientation:
Bending itself to developing marine assorting, marine logistics, semi-finished products assorting and machinery equipment manufacturing enterprises, it will stress to develop marine thruster, marine diesel engine, marine valve, crankshaft marine vessels, paint, steel plate processing, superstructure, all sizes of accessories, deck equipment, loader and unloader equipments and so on. At the same time, it will also develop foundry, anchor, pipe fitting, welding material, cable, electronics etc. as well as to strengthen and extend the areas of marine electromotor, light, special switch, marine boiler, air conditioners etc.
●Investment Ways
Batch of land purchasing is permitted with the life of 50 years. Besides, standard workshop is allowed to be purchased. While, variety of long-term or short-term workshop renting will meet the requirements of different companies.

1. Rich in coastal and land resources. Located in middle part of Liaodong Peninsula, Dalian Bohai Sea coastline side, 400 meters offshore could reach 20m isobath and 1km offshore could reach 30m isobath. 44km of the 91.6km-long coastline can be used in developing port-related industries, suitable for the construction of port berths with capacity ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 DWT
